Define an existing domain as your website's address

Adding an existing domain to the website is a two-step process: pointing the domain to our servers, and letting our servers know where to direct the incoming traffic to the domain.
There are two ways to point the existing domain to our servers - one method, DNS forwarding, moves the email management as well, while the other, A Record forwarding, leaves the email setting intact. It is extremely important to figure out what kind of forwarding is required, as a DNS forwarding to a domain with existing mailboxes may potentially cause them to stop working.
The attachment of the domain to the website must be done regardless of the selected way of forwarding.

DNS Forwarding

A user, who already owns a previously acquired domain and would like to refer it to his new website created in our system, must contact the company that had sold him the domain and ask them to replace his current DNS addresses with those provided by us.

They are as follows:

ns1.enter-system.com
ns2.enter-system.com

After it has been done, you must connect your domain to your website, as described below.

When you address the other company in order to transfer your DNS records, please make sure you request from them to delete all data connected to your domain in their database.

Cases in which it is recommended to forward the DNS:
• When you have no mailboxes at your current service provider for the domain.
• When you'd like to use our mailbox services.
• When there is a need to be able to manage the DNS records using our system.
• When you'd like to have the ease of being able to manage your DNS records using your website.

If you experience any difficulties defining DNS settings, please address our support team and receive additional explanations.

A Record forwarding

If you want to forward your domain to our servers, you should contact the company that manages your domain and ask them to perform the following actions:

1.Erase the current A-record of the domain, if there's any (usually there are two records of the kind).
2.Create a new A-record, that will look like this:
YourDomainName.com IN A 62.219.12.166
3.Create a new CNAME record forwarding to the address web.enter-system.com, as illustrated by the following example:
www.YourDomainName.com IN CNAME web.enter-system.com

Important: Some companies requre only the A Record. This won't work with our system! Make sure both A Record and CNAME are created! Make sure that the 3rd step is not ignored or overlooked, otherwise the domain won't work.

Cases in which it is recommended to forward the domain without changing DNS:
• When your mailboxes and your website are managed in different places.
• When it is technically impossible to change the DNS and only forwarding the records is an available option.
• When the company owns a private DNS server and the system administrator is not interested in replacing your DNS records.

Attaching the domain to the website

Regardless of the type of forwarding you choose, this step is a mandatory part of the process.
After redefining the DNS addresses, you may connect your domain to your website manually:
Enter your website manager, go to "Tool List" >> "Site Profile" >> "My Domains". Click on “Add New Domain Name” button, then enter your domain name and choose your website number from the list in the dropdown box (leaving the Forwarding address field empty!). On completion press “Apply”.

In case you would like to forward the domain to a specific URL, do not choose website number, but fill in the forwarding address instead. "HTTP://" is required here.
